Ella Corsi is a young equestrian who shows in Southern California. She has ridden for about five years, and has had a few special horses in her life. Her first lease horse, Cash, was an 18 year old gelding who was always careful with her but still taught her how to ride a stubborn horse. Ella and Cash showed together during her lease and were very successful in the show ring. Ella also succeeded in Pony Club. Her current horse is an OTTB gelding named Charlie. After the Thomas Fire, Charlie had anxiety and started bucking and rearing. Everyone told Ella to just sell him, but Ella knew he was still a good horse and would not give up on him. After a change of trainers and some time, Ella and Charlie went from barely even being able to trot to jumping 1.0 Meter courses. Ella is affectionately known as "sticky buns" because she would ride the horses nobody wanted to ride and stayed on! Ella's short term goals include going cross country schooling and going to a 3 day eventing show. Long term, Ella would like to compete at higher levels and possibly make a career as a horse trainer. We love having you on our team, Ella!
